November Goals Review

Now that November has ended, it is time to review how I did for the month. At the beginning of the month I layed out my goals and now I will see if I met those goals.

My main goal for November was to reach my Player Point Challenge goal of 1500 Mansion Club Points (MCP) so that I may get my $100 bonus. I did reach the points mid-way through the month and then spent the rest of the month arguing with Mansion about why they would not honor their original e-mail about how many points I actually needed. Not to go back into the whole thing, if you look back a few posts on my blog you will get all the details. Needless to say, I'm still bonus hunting.

Another goal I had for the month was to work on fixing my leak. (read about it here). With this leak, I truly don't believe that it will ever be fully fixed, but I feel that if I can contain it, then I will make more than I lose. Overall I have to say that I have been doing better and the results from my last 2 live tourneys prove that I am thinking things through a little more before spilling my chips into the pot. As for online, again with my BR going up, I feel that I'm thinking hands through a little more, and making proper decisions, which is showing as I had a few more wins and a better ROI than the previous month.

My last goal was to read more and try to better my game. Although I feel I did do this throughout the month, I don't think I did as much as I could have. This is one of those 'as long as I'm playing goals', since I should never stop trying to read/learn more, because getting better is the only way I should be going with my poker game/skills. A few good places I find myself reading are pokernewspaper and thepokerblog, as they have great strategy articles.

As for my stats, well here they are:

Mansion: 237.63 (+125.16)
Titan: 80.97 (n/c)
RedKings: 77.9 (-4.25)

Live: 755 (+617)

Throughout November I played in 62 tournaments with an ROI of 26.06%. In my opinion, I think it was a pretty good month, BR wise, and I plan to continue throughout this month.

Check back soon to see my goals for December.

Good luck at the tables.
