February Goals Review

First off, I apologize for being late on my review from last months goals. I've been sick for the past week and haven't spent much time on my computer. Now that I'm feeling better, here's what happened last month. If you didn't get a chance to read about my February goals, check them out at your convenience.

Overall, February was a slow month. As for playing time, it was my lowest amount of time spent since July '08. Although I didn't play much, I did make it a productive month with a $67 profit and an ROI of 39%. I also thought I reached my cash out goal of 5000 MCP, only to discover that I'm still 500 MCP short. Because I thought I had reached my cash out goal, I decided to transfer $100 onto Poker Stars so that I may play in their 25 Billionth Hand challenge. I didn't win the 'Big One' or any of the other 150 smaller prizes. For the record the closest I came was 64 hands off 1 of the Millionth Winning hands. The extra $125 would have been a nice bonus.

I also decided to purchase PokerTracker3 and the first game I played with it was a success. You can read out it here. I would have to say that purchasing PT3 was the reason my ROI for February was high.

Another high point of last month was that I finally made the money in an MTT. It wasn't a huge cash (I'm still down money from all my MTT's played), but it was a cash non the less, and hopefully I can build on it in future MTT's

As for reading more, I reach this goal, as I only managed to put in a few hours into my TKPBTN book. So far it is very interesting, looking forward to exploring it more in the coming days. I know I should have read while I was sick, but all I really wanted to do was sleep.

Overall, I'm happy with the increase in my BR and my overall play for February and planning on continuing this trend into March.

Good luck at the tables.
