March Goals

Although the month is already 20% over, I still feel I need to set some goals for this month.

First off, my main goal is going to be to reach the points needed to cash out of Mansion and pay for PT3 and my transfer to Poker Stars. As of today, I only need to pay another $13 in tournament fees, or 13 $10+1 DorN. So far this month I'm 5/6 in the DorN with the help of PT3. That software really makes a difference when you are playing tight ABC as I can usually get an idea of who's going to call my PFR by their VP$IP. So far, no complaining about spending the money on PT3.

Second, we (pokerBRB and I) are almost done our side project on should have it fully operational by the end of the month. So I need to devote some time to get that working properly. Another part of our joint project is that we have a shared BR on FTP that we both try to spend a few hours a week trying to build up, so that is another goal I plan on working on this month.

Third, since I have PT3 installed and over 30,000 hands in my database, I'm going to spend some time analyzing my hands to see where my 'leaks' are so that I may work on those in order to become a better player.

And last but not least, spend more time with my Tournament Killer Poker by the Numbers book so that I can find other ways to improve my game.

That should be all.

Good luck at the tables.

Those DoNs are very very grinding. I always see a lot of those open limp with AA or min bets with monsters. The thing I found about those DoNs is that you can stack a player who can't lay down TPTK or AA something like that. It's a test of patience but good for building BR.

Just curious - are you sharing a BR pool on PokerBRB? or is it just with one single player?
