A little cash action

Played some cash sessions this evening and managed to finish up $7.12. 2 of the sessions were cut short when the tables became to short (1 became HU) as I prefer full ring tables.

Here are a couple of HH that I found interesting.

flop brings nothing and everybody checks. I probably should have bet, but I was worried someone was slow playing trips or 2pr.

TURN [board cards 5C,8C,9S,5D ]
D_P_G bets $0.10, xbrattonx calls $0.10, McTap03 calls $0.10.

SB decides to min bet. This looks like he has a set and is trying to build a pot, but with implied odds if I catch a T, I decide to call.

RIVER [board cards 5C,8C,9S,5D,JD ]

The J gives me top pr, ok kicker, but with the action by the SB and a call by the BB I figure 1 of them has a 5 so I fold.

D_P_G bets $0.40, xbrattonx calls $0.40, McTap03 folds.

SHOWDOWN

xbrattonx wins $1.33.

SB was bluffing and I had the BB beat. Should I have called the river bet?

Wow, couldn't have asked for better, 1 bet and a call before it gets back to me. Again, this hand is the nuts so no use pushing people out.

Again, a bet and a call before it gets back to me. These 2 are building a nice pot for me.

I decide to lead out figuring that if I check and neither bet, then I'd be pissed for missing the value bet. Surprisingly they both called.

Not much more I can say about it. Just wondering if I bet more on the flop if they still call.

My last session was not that exciting and after almost 1 hour I was down almost half a BI mostly because of the blinds and a few PFR that got pushed back on the flop. I did managed to generate another 1.9 points and show a profit. So all is good.
